History
- Born in Ruatha Hold to Lord Holder Varen and Lady Holder Reylani
- Younger twin to Virani; They have an older brother [26], and a younger brother [18]
- Grew up spoiled and wanting for nothing; silver spoon in her mouth kind of thing; having siblings has kept her humble though because they put each other through hell growing up [still kind of do]
- Trained to be a lady and to run a household with her twin while their older brother was trained to run the Hold as he was the heir and would take over when he was old enough
- Always admired dragons and their riders; loved listening to the heroic old tales of riders braving Threadfall to keep everyone safe; Wanted to be that kind of heroine for people
- Was a precocious kid and a stubborn teenager; got into mischief with her younger brother often [their older brother and Virani tried to either talk them out of it, smooth things over, or get them out of trouble]
- Was 19 when F'len took over the North; Being from a Hold beholden to Fort, her family supported him but were secretly wary and reluctant to fully trust someone so brash as to turn to voilence
- They heard stories of his harshness and rumors flew about what riders under F'len's orders did; Ruatha was spared, though, being a loyal Hold that didn't cause trouble
- Appalled when the Jr Weyrleader of Benden is killed and shocked when Vitanya flees South with as many riders and handlers as she can; The family hopes she is safe despite everything;
- The whole family is disturbed by the rumors that F'len is turning into a dictator; They don't fully believe the rumors though they are careful that their Hold doesn't land on F'len's radar
- Vireya, Virani, and their younger brother were invited to stand at Lilivath's clutch; The twins were 20, their younger brother was 16; Their older brother was not eligible being their father's heir
- Utterly shocked with everything that happened, not withstanding the fact that she and her twin, and her young brother, impressed; Their parents are understandably worried (their brother impressed a Blue but that didn't surprise them, he'd always been sensitive and a prankster)
- They got to know the riders of the new silvers that their dragons had defended so vehemently and decided they liked them; the quartet became close rather quickly, the three girls like sisters and Ceyla's brother somewhere between another brother and a bodyguard of sorts; It helped that Ceyla's brother and the twins' younger brother became friends as well
- During Weyrling lessons, the twins were approached by a rider who offered them a proposition; Follow their aunt South and build a new Weyr - a new home - with her; After a debate and assurance their brother could come too they agreed and plans began; Said plans expanded to include most of their classmates and the girls were pleased with how well they were managing things
- They graduated Weyrling classes and the Weyr held a celebration for them, unknowing that everything was in place for them to slip out of the Weyr unnoticed; Which is exactly what they did in the middle of the night; Led by the older riders they slipped away and headed South
- Unfortunately they did not have the right coordinates; Utterly lost they spend the next fortnight trying to find New Benden Weyr; Instead they find a potential location for a new Weyr; So they decide to make it their own
- They managed to get into contact with New Benden as their new home neared completion but it was a brief contact; It was enough to let them know that their Aunt was okay and apparently thriving as they had a one turn old nephew
- Then Hollow Mountain Weyr was finished and the Weyr celebrated with festivities and food; Hanzoth and Hariyath rose together in their maiden flights and in the event of a lifetime they didn't fight; They flew together in this unprecedented happening, being chased by a throng of bronzes and browns a a single silver - Verreth
- When Verreth caught Hanzoth whispers flew through the Weyr; They weren't sure how to react to this new color being their leader despite knowing him and his rider; Vireya introduced him as their new Weyrleader and the people decided to give him a chance though many were still wary; Verreth had caught Hanzoth after all; The gold and her twin suprised everyone again by taking to the Hatching Grounds together two months later
- They had barely finished clutching when news reached them that New Benden had been decimated; The twins and their brother grieved for their Aunt, devastated that they didn't know what happened to their cousins;
- Two fortnight later, a ragtag group of survivors from New Benden were found by a patrolling Blue and his rider; They inlcuded weyrlings from Fuhinath's last clutch, the toddler nephew and infant niece of Vireya, Virani and their brother, and several mature riders
- After getting everyone settled in, the twins discuss what their next actions should be; they want to keep a low profile but with eggs on the Sands they need candidates badly

Appearance:
- Nothing about Hanzoth is small. From the beginning it was always clear that she would be - well huge. Coming in at 55ft she has certainly lived up to this and is definitely not opposed to throwing her weight around. She's full of thick muscles as well with strong, broad wings and a long, thick tail that power and guide her through the skies for hours on end. She's built more for endurance than agility though she is remarkably fast for a dragon of her size. She has tons of endurance like most Golds and combined with her speed she makes her Chasers work to catch her as any Gold worth her rank should. Her base color is a bright and shining true gold which leaves no question of her rank and that darkens to a more bronze gold at her extremities like the points on a bay runnerbeast. Light gold markings are worked into her hide, including a thin dorsal strip running down the length of her spine. Said markings give her an almost dappled look and if she could hide in tall grass it would help conceal her much like a terran lioness.

- Hanzoth is a Queen and there is no denying that. It oozes out of her in proud, stubborn confidence all wrapped up in a neat regal package. She knows who and what she is and by Faranath everyone else will too! She may be young but is the boss. Authoritative and demanding Hanzoth knows how to lead though she is still coming into her own natural talents. She is driven to make herself, her rider, and their new weyr the absolute best they can be and she will defend them with her dying breath if she has to. However underneath all that protective, commanding authority is a rather affectionate dragoness. She adores not only Vireya but Virani and Hariyath as well. The twins are extremely close and are also fond of their clutch-siblings - most importantly Verreth and Naireth. This affection extends to the dragons of her Weyr including the refugee weyrlings. In fact if it weren't for being on the sands tending her own clutch she'd probably be looking after them. Hanzoth has instead left that to Naireth.
